Karl Vilips will be hoping to register his second victory of the 2025 PGA Tour season by winning the
Valspar Championship.
What to know about Vilips
The Australian starlet turned professional after graduating in 2024 and joined the Korn Ferry Tour, where he won the Utah Championship.
Vilips was named the Korn Ferry Tour Rookie of the Year for the 2024 season and he finished 19th in the rankings to graduate to the 2025 PGA Tour.

The man nicknamed Koala Karl was in action in the recent The Players Championship in Florida, USA, where he missed the cut.
Koala Karl is currently ranked 108th in the Official World Golf Ranking and his best overall ranking is 106th.
Why Vilips is among the favourites
In his rookie PGA Tour season, Vilips won the Puerto Rico Open, three strokes ahead of Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen, in only his fourth start earlier this month.
The 23-year-old definitely has what it takes to win this weekend's Valspar Championship and record his third victory as a professional golfer.

"I don't know, just thinking ahead to next week already, Players, I'm getting ready for it. It's been a bit busy, but I'm sure when I'm in my hotel room later I'll be thinking about something.
"If you told me less than a year ago when I was at Stanford that I would be a PGA Tour winner at this point in my career, I think I would be a little surprised."
